What: The Postal Service’s new business model, five day delivery and other hot issues facing the mailing industry along with the experts to address them await attendees at this year’s National Postal Forum. More than 4,000 industry professionals are expected to attend the four-day conference that features more than 130 workshops.
John E. Potter, Postmaster General and CEO, will take the stage Monday morning to deliver a keynote address. Potter also will lead a two-hour session about the Postal Service’s action plan for the future.
The Cowboys of the Silver Screen commemorative postage stamps will be unveiled at the general session luncheon on Wednesday. The stamps immortalize four extraordinary performers who helped make the American Western a popular form of entertainment — William S. Hart, Tom Mix, Gene Autry and Roy Rogers.
