It’s not like it happened over night. Yes, we have to deal with the Government however, The Post Master General………….THIS IS HIS JOB! He is the Leader of this Company. Make all the excuses you want, it is unacceptable! Try making an excuse when you don’t deliver the Mail!

  17. I am guessing there will be no early out incentive right now. Sounds like it is going to have to wait for a while until all this bill is worked out. As slow as they are in Washington that will probably be later on this year. Oh well back to work and forget about retiring.

  19. I hate to dis military personnel but because I was dissed first here goes. The stupid SOB from the 1st Cav doesn’t have a clue as to what he speaks. I have seen many many people get a letter carrier job and quit after a couple of weeks saying that they aren’t going to do a job like this, it’s too hard. So Army boy, until you have carried a mile in my shoes you don’t have the right or experience to criticize my craft. I’ll also have you know smart ass that more letter carriers have college degrees or years of college than you obviously know about. Again you are ignorant on another matter. Then we get to your third ignorant rant of no more OT. That’s fine with me I’m a little tired of working 6 day weeks and OT nearly every day. They don’t give out OT because they (management) like us, its because the mail volume where I work is always heavy. But if they agree with your dumb assesment of how to get mail out of the station and into the mail boxes and decide to stop OT, then management better move out of the way so I can stack the mail where they are standing. Obviously you know nothing of the postal service, based on your statements, and there is a very good reason to doubt that you could become a postal employee should you decide to. From a former USMC Sgt. 68 – 72. Semper Fi, love ya, mean it.

  27. We can tell you have been drinking! And you are hiring part time people,tons of them, there are signs all over the place we are hiring. No benefits cheap help! Get rid of full time employees and hire part time employees with no benefits, low wages. At least tell it like it is.

  31. Yes he sounds drunk and never stops moving his arms but you guys are too harsh on him. If he resigns, what will his successor do differently? The post office is in the hands of clueless lawmakers. Their only concern is keeping their local post office open but have no real solutions to this postal mess.
