USPS In Search of Senior VP For Governmental And Public Affairs

According to Association of Postal Commerce (PostCom):

The word from several sources is that Korn Ferry is in charge of a search for a new postal senior v.p. to be in charge of governmental and public affairs. It sounds like a re-creation of a position that once had existed within the USPS. It was a good idea then. It would be a good idea now.

    LIKE (PRC CHAIRMAN RUTH Y GOLDWAY) NOW SHE HAS NEW IDEAS! TO ADD SERVICE TO THE USPS AND KEEP EMPLOYEES WORKING (THE REAL EMPLOYEES CRAFT WHO GET THE MAIL OUT EVERY DAY 6 DAYS A WEEK) NOT THE PENCIL PUSHERS.. TO MANY LAYERS OF MANAGEMENT!!!

  6. Just what we need, another VP. No wonder the USPS is in the red. Stop with the adding of white collar jobs, start cutting them. Better yet, demote them to craft so they can find out what REAL work is, and that many of their demands are impossible. For instance, doing more with less. Let them try it and see how well it works out for them.

  7. Now there is a shocker ! The postal service makes a new VP position yet still seeks ways to cut craft jobs. When will they realize that upper management needs to be thinned out.
