This Solicitation/Award Package is issued to acquire professional services for the review of medical record documentation and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding analysis of bill payment records to substantiate healthcare fraud in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
Scope of Work
The United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General conducts investigations of medical providers suspected of false billings related to medical services provided to Postal Service employees receiving FECA-OWCP benefits. These healthcare fraud investigations may require review of the medical and billing records by an independent source to substantiate the fraud and determine the financial loss to the Postal Service. In addition, expert medical testimony by the supplier’s reviewer may be required during criminal and/or civil proceedings.
